Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC, NCC)

I obtained a Master of Education degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling in 2023, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Sociology in 2016 from Columbia College. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and have over five years of experience in behavioral therapy working with children, young adults and their families. I also have experience working at Boys and Girls Club as well as volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

I am an enthusiastic Peloton member and self-identified foodie, as well as a proud dog dad of two, surprisingly, well behaved chiweenies.

I utilize aspects of both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) approaches, and have been trained and utilize techniques from the Community Resiliency Model (CRM) developed by the Trauma Resource Institute. In my work with clients I emphasize resilience and focus on utilizing techniques that help people stay in their resilient zone.
