Life can be wonderful. It can also be messy. Often, it is both.

Sometimes the messiness of life causes us to lose track of our own sense of purpose and motivation. When that happens we can become stuck, but the good news is we don’t have to go through such moments alone.

In fact, it’s better if we don’t.

A native Midwesterner, I received my Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree from the University of Iowa and a Master’s of Divinity from the University of Dubuque. I am a medically retired Air Force Reserve chaplain and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Central Methodist University.

I am a certified Prepare and Enrich Facilitator, specialize in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and am pursuing certification in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy. Additionally, I have special interests in hospice and grief work, spiritual trauma, veterans and military families, and LGBTQ affirmation.
