Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC)
Whether working with children to address behavioral challenges or guiding couples through relationship dynamics, my goal is to empower my clients to grow, communicate more effectively, and lead fulfilling, connected lives.
In my work, I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method for couples, and mindfulness-based approaches. I also apply attachment theory to help clients build secure emotional connections and foster healthier relationships. My approach is grounded in relationship-building, offering a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their authentic selves and heal.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Central Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Columbia College. I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and children, providing compassionate and evidence-based counseling services. With my previous experience as an intern at Marriage and Family Counseling Center, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges that individuals and families face in today’s world.
