My therapeutic approach centers around maintaining a regulation, authentic self, and safe relationships. I pull from the Cognitive Behavioral, Humanist, and Gottman approaches to therapy.  My goal for clients is to engage in a safe, balanced life worth living fully.

I attended high school in Jefferson City at JCHS. I graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I am pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Counseling through Central Methodist University. Through my course work, I have learned about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Intrapersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness approach to therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman theory of marriage, and Family Systems Theory.

I have spent the entirety of my adult life working with children ranging from birth through 5th grade. Many of those years were spent working with neurodivergent children with a vast range of abilities and challenges.  I bring that love and passion for all children and their unique families to the counseling setting.

In my personal life, I enjoy learning about new things and exploring new places. I enjoy camping, cooking, exercising, learning ASL, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I am a proud member of the LBGTQ+ community.
